Refund and Returns Policy

If you change your mind about something you bought from the Defender Sightings shop, you can send it back. This page explains how, and what happens to your money.
Your 14-day right to change your mind
As a consumer in the European Union you have 14 days from the day your order arrives to withdraw from the purchase. You do not have to give a reason and none will be asked for.
To use the right, email info@defendersightings.com within those 14 days with your order number and say that you are withdrawing. Your cancellation will be confirmed and the return address sent to you. You then have another 14 days to actually put the item in the post.
The condition it comes back in
Stickers need to come back unused and with the backing paper still attached — once a sticker has been peeled and stuck to something, it cannot be resold and cannot be refunded. You are welcome to open the envelope and look at the sticker; that does not affect your right to return it.
If an item comes back damaged through more handling than was needed to check it, the refund may be reduced to reflect the lost value.
Who pays the postage
- Changed your mind — you pay the return postage.
- Faulty, damaged or not what you ordered — Silver Trading OÜ pays it. Send a photo first and you will be told the cheapest way to return it, or simply sent a replacement.
Getting your money back
Refunds are issued within 14 days of the item arriving back, or of you proving that you posted it, whichever comes first. The refund covers the price of the item plus the standard delivery cost you originally paid. It goes back to the same card or payment method you used, through Stripe, and no fee is ever charged for it.
If you chose a more expensive delivery option than the standard letter, the standard rate is refunded rather than the upgrade.
Orders that never arrive
Standard letters are not tracked. If your order has not reached you within 30 days of posting, email the shop and a replacement will be sent or your money refunded in full — no argument.
Faults found later
Estonian law gives you a two-year right of claim for goods that are faulty or not as described. If a sticker fails in a way it should not — the print lifts, the vinyl cracks in normal outdoor use — get in touch and it will be sorted out.
